A big hearty AMEN, my brother! Like yourself, I was ignorant of the truth concerning the NIV and the KJV. In fact, I hated the KJV because I thought it was hard to understand. I loved the NIV because I thought it was easier to understand. It wasn't until the late 1990s that I discovered the Bible version issue on a Christian website, and there I discovered the truth about how the NIV omitted important words and passages, and how the KJV is absolutely reliable and perfect. The decision was an easy one for me: I threw out the NIV study bible, and read the KJV. Through the years I discovered some very important facts about the KJV, and I am totally convinced that it TRULY is the THE inspired, preserved, and only perfect Bible in the English language. I absolutely love the King James Bible because it is absolutely powerful, majestic, and glorious. It reflects our God who is its powerful, majestic, and glorious Author. I thank Thee, Lord, for Thy holy book, the King James Bible!
