Concerning the article KJV 777 Vs NIV 666
There is nine verse of Melchisedec in the book of Hebrew and two spelling.
1) Melchisedec Hebrew Book
2) Melchizedek which are found in two places. I used e-Sword to search the words.
This is the 1769 King James Version of the Holy Bible (also known as the Authorized Version).
Gen_14:18 And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of the most high God.
Psa_110:4 The LORD hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.
Heb_5:6 As he saith also in another place, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.
Heb_5:10 Called of God an high priest after the order of Melchisedec.
Heb_6:20 Whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.
Heb_7:1 For this Melchisedec, king of Salem, priest of the most high God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him;
