It just never ceases to amaze me how deficient in GENERAL Education these shallow Biblical Greek (and Hebrew) scholars are! If they had a good, rounded education in the humanities (and all else that goes into being truly well educated) they would not fall into such pedantries as those which are their whole reason for existence and drawing attention to their pathetic selves. I know one such "Greek scholar" who teaches at the university level. He may know his Greek well, but his Latin is practically non-functional (and thus he lacks the ability to handle many exegetical and lexicographical tools for the Greek N.T.) and his English is so barbaric, full of crudities, devoid of vocabulary and of decently good grammar that it is painful to converse with him. I won``t name this pedantic ass, who resembles Kutilek quite a lot but is worse, but he needs to go back to a good junior college to re-start a real education.
