Thanks for the teaching. I love the part about you can't have fast food Christianity. That is our total culture these days. Nobody wants to study and read and seek after truth.

2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Seems like so called "Christians" want a fast food religion where they can feel good and have there ears tickled. This is the very issue that opened my eyes to the truth. I grew up on the NIV and once i learned that entire verses were missing i started searching for truth.

Thank you for you clear direct teaching as it answers many questions and i know will help so many. I will be posting this video on my website as well.

After listening to this great video my mind began to wonder back to college days when I took a course in Philosophy thinking it would be an easy course. We were to buy a book called "The Essential Erasmus" for part of our study. Erasmus being brought up in the video reminded me of that book and I dug it out! Copyrighted in 1964, there is a section in the book called "The Praise of Folly". May I quote Erasmus in that book?

On page 158 he says, "Now the Christian church was founded on blood, built on blood, and strengthened on blood, and yet the belief that one should defend one's own property by one's own means has been abandoned.Instead of defending the church in the way is necessary, the popes, neglecting all their other functions, make war their only duty."

That doesn't sound like a good candidate to be called a good Catholic to me-especially since the pope banned his books and he was threatened with excommunication if indeed he wasn't. Some have said that the "Church" gave us the bible. I beg to differ. They did all they could to keep it from us including placing it on their list of Forbidden books but, and if they did, in some minds, then I'm proud to own the KJV bible edited by the great Catholic, Erasmus who edited the Textus Receptus as it was later called. He may have been born Catholic but his heart wasn't in it.

I went on my cousins website earlier this year and was disappointed to find that one his statement of belief included: "We believe the whole Bible from Genesis 1:1 to Revelation 22:21 is the verbally inspired and infallible Word of God, preserved in the King James translation for the English-speaking world." I had wanted to support his ministry because of his clear gospel, etc. Growing up, the only Bible I was exposed to was the KJ, but I switched over to NIV while attending Bible College, having been told by a professor that the KJ wasn't the best translation. After going to my cousin's website, I began to research the KJB and now understand that his statement of belief is correct. I'm thankful for your website.
