Wow! Great preaching. I love this pastor`s comment, regarding those who try to fob off the new, perverted Bibles, "I smell a skunk!" For sure! Skunks, stinkbugs, with their noxious gasses, and dirty, smelly, unwashed hides all over the place! Mega-skunks!
The so-called "Critical Text" (Westcott-Hort and variants thereof) is not also in any true a so-called "Neutral Text", rather it is a neuterED text and a biassed one, its bias being error, where it can introduce it. The New Testament`s power is regenerative, and, really, that can be understood as "generative", since we are born in spiritual darkness and blindness. This generative/regenerative power largely is shorn from it in this so-called "critical" text, which becomes of lesser effect in accomplishing God`s Holy Will. One does not use a gelding to generate and replenish the flock; a neutered male sheep will not beget lambs with the ewes. A neutered text also is shorn of spiritually (re)generative power, if not totally, then certainly in large degree. The A.V. Bible is potent, not neutered (i.e., not impotent)!
